Collection: Sculptra®
Sculptra® Aesthetic is the only FDA-approved poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) facial injectable treatment that helps stimulate the skin’s own natural collagen production. It works gradually to restore the skin’s inner structure for a more youthful appearance.

What is Collagen's Role in Aging?
As we age, we lose collagen, which acts as the skin’s support structure, and helps maintain its shape. In fact, 70% of our skin is composed of collagen, and collagen loss causes the skin to lose its elasticity and moisture. Sculptra® Aesthetic helps treat the underlying cause of facial aging — the loss of collagen. In doing so, it subtly and gradually adds volume that lifts the soft tissues and plumps skin from within. It is a natural way to replace volume loss.

What to Expect?
- Restores Facial Volume and Provides Support to the skin to improve the look of smile lines (called nasolabial folds), marionette lines, pre-auricular wrinkles (the vertical wrinkles in front of the ears), radial cheek folds (vertical wrinkles on the lower cheek) and chin wrinkles.
- Provides Gradual and Natural–Looking Results that become visible over a period of a few months
- Long-Lasting—Lasts more than two years (What you get is your's to keep, but we recommend yearly maintenance)

Why Sculptra?
SCULPTRA ADDRESSES AN UNDERLYING CAUSE OF FACIAL AGING, NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS
Not All Anti-Aging Treatments Are the Same:
- Collagen creams: Collagen creams do not fully penetrate to the dermis, so most topical treatments are effective as moisturizers that briefly improve the skin's appearance.
- Collagen Supplements: When ingested, the digestive system breaks down collagen proteins and their effectiveness remains inconclusive.
- Toxins: Toxins temporarily weaken muscles to minimize frown lines in the forehead. Results typically last a couple months.
- Fillers: Works immediately upon injection to fill in lines, wrinkles and folds.
As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles.
Sculptra works with your body within the deep dermis to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.
As the Sculptra PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production.
Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.
Sculptra may stimulate collagen growth which helps to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds over time.
How Does it Work?
Sculptra is a quick and practically painless injection, similar to dermal filler, and provides long-lasting results.
If you have sunken cheeks, temple indentations, or hollows under the eyes, Sculptra can be used to promote production of your body’s natural collagen — and it even continues to work long after you complete your treatment! Many patients have reported continued volumizing effects for over three years!
How Many Treatments Will I need?
On average, a series of 2-4 treatment sessions over the course of a few months may be needed. The number of injections at each session will vary, depending on the degree of correction needed and the treatment plan determined by you and your specialist.
Results from Sculptra are not immediate, although you may think that after your first treatment due to swelling. When the swelling subsides a few days after, you may again look the same way you did before the treatment. However, the poly-L-lactic acid will have already begun its magic..
