Collection: Stem Cell

Stem cells are special human cells that are able to develop into many different cell types. This can range from muscle cells to brain cells.  Because millions of cells in our bodies die and become damaged each day, they need to be constantly replaced. This is the body’s natural repair process, which is how injuries heal and how we recover from diseases. In some cases, they can also fix damaged tissues.

1) Adult or Somatic Stem Cells (Adipose (Fatty) Tissue or Bone Marrow)

Extracted from the fat tissue or bone marrow of the patient or other compatible donor, these stem cells have been used to treat the patient. But because these cells are limited by age or other factors, they often don't offer as much healing potential in some cases.

2) Embryonic Stem Cells (At New Regeneration, we do not use embryonic stem cells)

Although stem cells derived from embryos are very young and have great potential for efficient differentiation, ethical concerns and potential safety concerns surrounding the use of embryos for medical procedures have prevented the use of these cells in most countries. At New Regeneration, we do not use embryonic stem cells.

3) Perinatal Cells (Umbilical Cord-Derived Stem Cells)

These cells come from Umbilical Cord tissue, including the placenta, amniotic fluids. These cells are young and known to be among the most effective to stimulate healing, modulate the immune system, and secret growth factors that may help tissues throughout the body to regenerate. Because these cells are the byproduct of a healthy birth, they are “adult” stem cells and use of these cells does not create any ethical concerns.
